‘I Am ALIVE,’ Poonam Pandey's Declaration Leaves Internet In A Frenzy; Enraged Netizens Say, ‘Pls Arrest Her For This Drama’
Reality show star and actress Poonam Pandey left everyone in shock when her PR team released a statement about her untimely demise. Through an Instagram post, her team informed the netizens that she had passed away at the age of 32 due to cervical cancer. While many were initially skeptical of the news, condolences for the same started pouring in from the actress’ friends and acquaintances. On Saturday morning she took to her official handles yet again to reveal that she is indeed alive and the news was to create an awareness regarding cervical cancer. 

In the video posted by Poonam, she exclaims that she is alive and didn’t die due to cervical cancer. She went on to talk about the disease and how many women in India lose their lives because of it. Sharing the video, she wrote, “I feel compelled to share something significant with you all - I am here, alive. Cervical Cancer didn’t claim me, but tragically, it has claimed the lives of thousands of women who stemmed from a lack of knowledge on how to tackle this disease.” ALSO READ: WHAT! Netizens were quick to take to the comment section of the video to condemn her and her team. Many, including celebrities, who had expressed their shock on Friday, lashed out at her for doing such a stunt. Some even blamed publications and journalists for reporting the news without verifying it. Others demanded her arrest for spreading fake news and creating a ruckus. For those who don't know, apart from announcing her passing through an Instagram post, her manager also confirmed the news during a conversation with media publications. During a conversation with News18, Poonam Pandey’s manager said, “Poonam Pandey was not only a luminary in the film industry, but she was also a beacon of strength and resilience. Her unwavering spirit amidst her health struggles was truly remarkable.”
